Support Our 2005 Educator of the Year

I am writing to IMPLORE you to be present

For a Youth and Parent Press Conference

To defend our 2005 Educator of the Year, Karim Lopez, who has unreasonably
been banned form the very school he does such amazing work.

We have worked with Karim for YEARS and selected him for our annual award
because of his incredible dedication to the youth he works with at Community
School for Social Justice.

As the below press release details, he was banned from the school because he
was trying to draw attention to the increasing militarization of the public
schools, and issue I often hear about with the teens we work with.

Karim has led numerous successful internship programs and is the mainstay of
our Green Team program. He also initiated and helped edit the youth shot
video on our blog at:
